One of its Kind, Champions Trophy (So Called Knock Out Tournament) is under the way to start in South Africa from 24th Sept, 2009 to 5th Oct, 2009 (Full Schedule of ICC Champions Trophy 2009) to be played at Wanderers Stadium and Centurion Park in South Africa. All the 8 teams in the tournament have announced their respective teams which would be playing in South Africa's Champions Trophy this week.
Before we look at the players of each and every team, one of the major disappointment would be all the top players of the West Indies would not be playing this tournament due to some problem with their Cricket Council. Group A of the Champions Trophy include., Australia, India, Pakistan, West Indies. Group B of the Champions Trophy include., New Zealand, Sri lanka, South Africa and England. Australian Squad announced on 22nd Aug 2009 : Ricky Ponting (c), Nathan Bracken, Michael Clarke, Callum Ferguson, Nathan Hauritz, Ben Hilfenhaus, James Hopes, Michael Hussey, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, Tim Paine, Peter Siddle, Adam Voges, Shane Watson and Cameron White.
